What happens when you click a price button
Every "Check price on Amazon" button here carries an affiliate tag. Press one, buy the printer or the nozzle set at the other end, and a share of that sale comes back to us. You are charged what Amazon charges; arriving by this route costs you nothing extra and saves you nothing either.
Each click passes through this site first, because the right store depends on the country you read from. From Italy the link lands on amazon.it and from Spain on amazon.es, each with the tag registered for that store. For the same reason the link is marked rel="nofollow sponsored": a link that can earn money is advertising, and it is labelled that way for any program that reads the page.
The direction of the incentive, and the counterweights
The commission is a percentage, so a CO2 laser returns more than a pack of soldering tips ever will. That pull is real and it is worth naming. Three arrangements work against it, and each can be checked rather than believed:
- Position in a family owes nothing to earnings. What a reference pays is not consulted while a family is ordered, and no ranking has been rearranged after writing because one entry pays better. When the sensible answer is the cheapest item on the page — or no purchase at all, as when drying a spool would fix the stringing a new printer was meant to cure — the page says that instead.
- Many of the firmest recommendations here are inexpensive. A hardened nozzle, a roll of flux-cored solder, a spare release film: none earns us much, and each can change more than an upgrade would. Price and commission decide nothing.
- When a machine has no confirmed offer on the Amazon store for your country, the button runs a search on that store instead of opening a listing that may no longer exist. We earn less that way, and you lose nothing.
Things money cannot buy here
A ranking position, a paragraph and a warmer tone have never been for sale on this site, and they are not for sale now. No page is sponsored. A verdict does not change because a machine sells out or because a competitor would pay more, since nothing on the site is set up to respond to what a product pays.
About the prices
A live figure shown here is drawn from Amazon's own recorded prices for your market and held for a short while before being read again. Printers and lasers move in price more than most products: a machine can hold one price for months and then fall sharply for a sale week. Treat any band written into a review as the bracket it is, and the number on Amazon at the moment of ordering as the only one that settles anything.
