In particular, a laser's electrical power and its optical power are reported as the two distinct figures they are, and one is never presented as the other. Nothing here replaces a manufacturer's own instructions, the markings on a product, or the rules of the country you are in — and two statements are repeated on every page that touches them: a published print speed is the limit of a motion system and is never presented here as the rate at which a part is produced; and no enclosure, filter, extractor, pair of glasses or setting is described on this site as making a machine or a workshop safe.
