SCRIB3D Advanced review

SCRIB3D’s step-up pen, with a large LCD, variable speed, a contoured grip and about 50 feet of PLA in five colors in the box.

The upgrade

SCRIB3D adds a larger LCD, a curved body and eight temperature settings. These are comfort features rather than new abilities.

A contradiction to note

The title says 20 feet of filament, and a bullet says 15 meters, about 50 feet. We report both, because the listing does.

When it is worth it

For long sessions, a better grip matters. For an occasional gift, the P1 costs much less.

Where it earns its place, and where it falls short

Strengths

  • More plastic in the box than the P1
  • Contoured grip for longer sessions
  • Lighter than the P1

Compromises

  • Title says 20 ft and the bullets say 50 ft
  • Costs about 70% more than the P1
  • Fewer ratings than the P1

Questions makers ask before buying

How much filament is in the box?

The title says 20 feet; a bullet says 15 meters, about 50 feet. Treat the lower figure as the safe assumption.

How does it differ from the P1?

A larger LCD, a contoured body and buttons for loading and temperature.

Our score

7.8/ 10

A nicer pen than the P1, not a better one. Buy it if comfort matters.
