xTool M2 review

An enclosed Class 1 laser with 10 W diode output and dual cameras, designed to take a separate CMYK inkjet module or IR laser later.

The base machine

Ten watts of diode power in a Class 1 enclosure, with dual cameras for a live preview. xTool Studio supplies templates for beginners.

The add-on path

The listing opens by saying what is not in the box. The CMYK inkjet module, a 3 W IR laser and the rotary are all separate. That frankness is welcome, but price the full setup you want.

Enclosed does not mean finished

Smoke still has to go somewhere. Plan a duct or a purifier. This is a laser product. Read the class on the label and the maker’s instructions on eyewear, enclosure and ventilation. This site does not call any setup safe.
