Resin, ESP-32 boards, and the jumpers between them
ELEGOO in resin
The Mars 5 resin printer is reviewed on this site, alongside ELEGOO’s 8K Standard Rigid resin, its Water Washable Resin 2.0 and a pack of PFA release film. The film is sized for Saturn printers rather than the Mars 5, which the film page says plainly.
ELEGOO in electronics
An ESP-32 starter kit with over 35 modules and more than 30 projects, a three-pack of ESP-32 boards with USB-C, and ribbons of jumper wires in three end types.
What ELEGOO publishes, and what it leaves out
The water-washable resin gives a viscosity figure, 109.40 mPa·s at 25 °C, which is rare. None of the ELEGOO resins gives exposure times, and the rigid resin’s handling guidance appears only on its bottle label. On the electronics side, the boards name USB-C and the Arduino IDE but no logic voltage, and the jumper wires no gauge.
3 boards · dual-core 32-bit, up to 240 MHz · Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth · GPIO, SPI, I2C · USB-C · Arduino IDE compatible · OTA firmware updates
A pack of three ESP-32 development boards with dual-core 32-bit processors up to 240 MHz, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, USB-C and Arduino IDE compatibility, whose listing gives no memory or pin counts.
Best for: A beginner or classroom starting with ESP32 in the Arduino IDE, with spare boards for experiments.
ESP-32 board, dual-core, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 · over 35 modules and components · online tutorial, over 30 projects with code and diagrams · Arduino IDE
An ESP-32 starter kit with a dual-core board, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2, more than 35 modules including an OLED screen, servo and keypad, and an online tutorial of over 30 projects with code and wiring diagrams.
Best for: A learner moving from blinking LEDs to connected projects such as weather stations and remote controls.
4K mono LCD · COB light source · 143.43 × 89.6 × 150 mm build volume · one-click auto-levelling · residue detection · overheat stop above 80 °C LED temperature
A 4K mono-LCD resin printer with one-click auto-levelling, a sensor that detects residue before it damages the screen, and an overheat cut-out, whose listing does not publish the pixel pitch.
Best for: A first resin printer for miniatures, where protection against a damaged screen and a self-check matter more than size.
