VEVOR 5-in-1 swing-away press, 38 × 30 cm review

A 38 × 30 cm swing-away heat press whose arm turns a full 360°, with an LCD controller for time and temperature, an alarm at the end of the cycle, and a spring plate that swaps for mug and cap attachments.

The bottom line A practical multi-purpose press with a clear platen size and a swing-away arm. Missing the temperature range is unusual for a machine sold for sublimation, where that range decides which blanks it can press.

The VEVOR 5-in-1 listing, bullet by bullet

Five bullets: an LCD with buttons for setting parameters and an audible alarm when the set time and temperature are reached; a swing arm turning 360° to move the heating element aside and press straight down; an adjustable spring plate replaceable by attachments such as a mug press and a cap press; improved handles, two layers of insulating cotton, 4 mm aluminium silicate paper and a 10 mm heat-stable sponge; and a 38 × 30 cm PTFE-coated platen for letters, numbers and patterns on caps, T-shirts, mugs and plates.

A swing-away arm on the VEVOR frame

Swinging the plate aside leaves the lower platen clear. Laying out a garment without a hot plate above it is the practical benefit, and the listing ties it to reducing accidental contact.

The missing temperature range

The LCD sets a temperature, and the page never says between what limits. Sublimation on mugs and polyester usually calls for higher temperatures than iron-on vinyl, so the range is the figure that decides the machine’s uses.

Five in one, partly named

The title says 5 in 1; the third bullet names a mug press and a cap press. The remaining attachments are not named in the text, and this review lists only what is written.

Availability

At the last look-up, the German, French, Italian and Spanish Amazon stores were asking 110 € to 116 €.

The American and British Amazon stores returned no entry, so the buy button there opens a search rather than a missing page.

Questions makers ask before buying

What does 360° swing-away mean here?

The second bullet says the arm turns fully so the heating element moves to the side, reducing the risk of touching it and pressing straight down when closed.

What insulation does it have?

The fourth bullet lists two layers of heat-insulating cotton, 4 mm of aluminium silicate paper insulation and a 10 mm heat-stable sponge.
