TNOMSNO RRQ-1215 mini glue gun, 20 W, 7 mm sticks review

A 20 W mini glue gun for 7 mm sticks, sold with 60 of them, reaching 180–200 °C in two to two and a half minutes, with a trigger feed, an anti-drip nozzle, a stand and a 1.5 m cable.

The bottom line A cheap, clearly described mini gun: temperature reached, heat-up time, stick size, stand. It has no temperature control and little power, which is what its price buys.

The TNOMSNO RRQ-1215 listing, bullet by bullet

Five bullets: a 20 W mini gun and 60 sticks of 7 × 100 mm; 2–2.5 minutes to 180–200 °C, a fire-resistant housing and anti-drip heating; a trigger feed and a reminder to use 7 mm sticks; a 1.5 m cable, a slide switch and a stand; and bonding to metal, wood, glass, fabric, plastic and ceramic.

Heat-up and temperature on the TNOMSNO

Two to two and a half minutes to 180–200 °C. Both figures are given, which is what a user needs to plan a session. There is no control to change the temperature once reached.

A 7 mm gun

Mini sticks are cheap and suit fine work. They also empty fast on larger joints, where an 11 mm gun lays more glue per stick.

The stand in the box

A stand keeps the hot nozzle off the table between joints. The fourth bullet includes it, which is a small but practical detail at this price.

Availability

At the last look-up, the German, French and Spanish Amazon stores were asking 7 € to 9 €.

It is sold in the British Amazon store as well, in its own currency, which the euro figures above leave out on purpose.

The asking price on the Italian Amazon store ran past 1.6× the lowest country’s. A gap that size points to goods shipped in from abroad rather than a local seller, so that offer is left out of the figures above.

The American Amazon store returned no entry, so the buy button there opens a search rather than a missing page.
