SCULPFUN rollers versus a chuck

Two rubber rollers. An object rests on them and turns by friction, which suits parallel-sided pieces. The Genmitsu MD18 on this site clamps instead and tilts; the SCULPFUN roller does neither.

Plugging in the SCULPFUN roller

The adapter cable goes where one of the engraver’s axis motors was connected, so that axis drives the rotation instead. The third bullet names both X and Y as options.

Availability

At the last look-up, the German, French, Italian and Spanish Amazon stores were asking 99 € to 120 €.

It is sold in the British Amazon store as well, in its own currency, which the euro figures above leave out on purpose.

The American Amazon store returned no entry, so the buy button there opens a search rather than a missing page.
