The Aicharynic 3D Touch V3.2 listing, bullet by bullet

Five bullets: an accuracy deviation of ± 0.005 mm for detecting the nozzle-to-bed distance and the tilt of the print surface; use on most FDM 3D printers; a light probe that measures bed tilt, with an LED that flashes if a fault is found during a self-check or operation; simple wiring and a firmware update from a computer; and use on glass, wood, metal and other beds.

Aicharynic’s ± 0.005 mm

An accuracy deviation, as Aicharynic states it. The figure comes with no conditions and no count of readings. It describes the probe’s claim, not the flatness of a finished first layer, which also depends on the bed, the frame and the mesh the firmware builds.

Aicharynic and firmware

The fourth bullet says a firmware update from a computer is part of installing the probe, so the printer’s board and firmware matter before buying.

Availability

At the last look-up, the German, French, Italian and Spanish Amazon stores were asking 15 € to 17 €.

It is sold in the British Amazon store as well, in its own currency, which the euro figures above leave out on purpose.

The American Amazon store returned no entry, so the buy button there opens a search rather than a missing page.
