Dioptre strength and lens diameter trade against each other · review
goobay 60361, 3 dioptres, 127 mm glass lens, 700 mm reach review
A clamp magnifier lamp with a 127 mm, 3-dioptre glass lens rated at 1.75×, a shadow-free LED ring of 8 W and 650 lumens, and a double-jointed arm with a 700 mm working radius.
The bottom line A thoroughly specified lamp on light and optics — dioptres, factor, lumens, candela, CRI, beam angle. It contradicts itself on colour temperature, prints an implausible clamp capacity and offers no dimming.
The goobay 60361 listing, bullet by bullet
Five bullets: a 127 mm glass lens with protective cap, 3 dioptres and 1.75× magnification, and a shadow-free LED ring; a double-jointed arm with a 700 mm working radius; a head tilting to 90° and swivelling 360°, with a clamp for panels up to 60 cm thick; a list of uses from workshop to reading; and LED light at 6400 K, 328 cd, CRI 80 and a 99° beam, with the title adding 8 W, 650 lumens and 6500 K.
Strength stated both ways on the goobay
3 dioptres and 1.75×. Giving both lets the lens be compared with any other rated either way. It is the clearest optical statement among these lamps, together with Showlite and Lumeno.
Two small contradictions
6500 K in the title, 6400 K in the bullets: a small gap, but a sign the listing was not checked against itself. A clamp for 60 cm panels is a different matter — a table that thick is unusual — and the figure reads like millimetres printed as centimetres.
Light data in full
Lumens, candela, colour rendering and beam angle are all given. Only the ability to dim it is missing.
Availability
At the last look-up, the German, French, Italian and Spanish Amazon stores were asking 71 € to 87 €.
It is sold in the American and British Amazon stores as well, in their own currency, which the euro figures above leave out on purpose.

Questions makers ask before buying
What magnification does the goobay lamp give?
The first bullet gives 3 dioptres and 1.75× magnification through a 127 mm glass lens.
How thick a table can the goobay clamp take?
The third bullet says panels up to 60 cm thick. That figure is reported as printed; it reads as a probable unit error, and the clamp capacity is worth confirming.
