Magnification without dioptres
“12×” and “5 dioptres” are two different ways of writing strength. The dearer lamps reviewed here publish dioptres, and some convert them to 1.75× or 2.25×. A 12× figure with no dioptre value does not fit that scale, and this page does not try to make it fit.
Light that is measured
772 lumens and CRI above 80 are numbers, not adjectives. For colour-sensitive work — paint matching, diamond painting — colour rendering is the figure that matters, and KIBTOY gives one.
A base instead of a clamp
A 28 × 18 cm metal base stands anywhere and takes that much desk space. The fourth bullet presents it as more stable than a clamp; the choice depends on whether the table edge or the table top is free.

The second bullet says 12× magnification. No dioptre value is published, so the figure cannot be set against lamps rated in dioptres.
Does the KIBTOY lamp come with a power adapter?
