50 MHz at 250 MSa/s is five samples per cycle at the bandwidth limit. That is enough to see a signal’s presence and approximate shape at the top of the range, and comfortably more at the lower frequencies car and hobby electronics mostly produce.
A touchscreen that takes gloves
A resistive screen responds to pressure rather than skin, which is why the listing can say gloves work. On a workshop floor or in a car, that is a practical choice over a capacitive screen.
What the O2 listing leaves out
Trigger modes, probes and decoding. A scope without a described trigger can still show a repeating signal, but catching a single event depends on it, and the manual is where to confirm the modes.
