The Linkstyle end mill listing, bullet by bullet

Five bullets: use on CNC and milling machines for copper, aluminium, tool steel and cast iron; ten sizes from 1.5 to 6 mm, with a slight measuring error allowed; high-speed steel, described as wear- and heat-resistant; a larger core diameter for rigidity and chip clearance; and straight shanks for materials from wood to titanium, acrylic and PVC.

Linkstyle: HSS or carbide

Both words in one title. The bullets settle on high-speed steel. Carbide and HSS differ in hardness and brittleness, so the material is worth confirming before running either at speed.

What Linkstyle does not give

No shank diameter, no flute length and no helix direction in the text. The product photograph fills part of that: each shank is stamped SWT with its sizes, such as 4×6×11×55 and HSS, which reads as a 6 mm shank throughout. On a router with a 1/8 in collet, none of the ten would fit.

Availability

At the last look-up, the German, French, Italian and Spanish Amazon stores were asking 13 € to 15 €.

It is sold in the British Amazon store as well, in its own currency, which the euro figures above leave out on purpose.

The American Amazon store returned no entry, so the buy button there opens a search rather than a missing page.
