The ELEGOO PFA film listing, bullet by bullet

Five bullets: a 273 × 176 mm sheet 0.127 mm thick, with replacement instructions printed on the packaging, also called FEP 2.0; suitability for the Saturn 2 and Saturn 8K, with the Saturn 3, 4 and 4 Ultra in the heading; light transmission for stable UV and detail; heat resistance printed as −240 °C to 260 °C; and five sheets with round-the-clock service.

A thinner film

0.127 mm against the 0.15 mm of the other films that give a thickness. Film thickness affects how it flexes when a layer peels away. ELEGOO states its figure, which lets an owner match it exactly on replacement.

A heat range to read with care

“−240 °C to 260 °C” is printed as it appears. The lower figure reads oddly for a film used at room temperature. The box in the product photograph gives a maximum long-term operating temperature of 260 °C and no lower figure, along with 92 % light transmission.

Saturn, not Mars

These sheets are sized for ELEGOO’s larger Saturn vats. The Mars 5 reviewed here uses a smaller vat and is not named.

Availability

At the last look-up, the German, Italian and Spanish Amazon stores were asking 25 € to 36 €.

The asking price on the French Amazon store ran past 1.6× the lowest country’s. A gap that size points to goods shipped in from abroad rather than a local seller, so that offer is left out of the figures above.

The American Amazon catalogue lists the product, yet no seller was offering it.

The British Amazon store returned no entry, so the buy button there opens a search rather than a missing page.

Every figure here is Keepa’s reading on the date this page was last updated. Stock and prices can change at any time.
