RUZIZAO SPS-E3010, 30 V 5 A or 15 V 10 A, 150 W review

A palm-sized bench supply limited to 150 W, switching between 30 V at 5 A and 15 V at 10 A, set by encoder knobs on a three-digit display, whose listing describes no protection at all.

The bottom line A compact supply with a clear power envelope and precise-feeling encoder controls. It lists no protections, and on a bench supply that is the first thing to confirm with the seller.

The SPS-E3010 listing, bullet by bullet

Six bullets: a 150 W supply switchable between 15 V at 10 A and 30 V at 5 A, which cannot be set beyond 150 W; a palm-sized case under 1 kg with a fan; a three-digit display and encoder knobs, voltage in 0.1 V and current in 0.01 A; a fan that runs from power-on rather than by temperature; a 100–240 V input at 50–60 Hz; and a box with the supply, output and input cables and a manual.

A 150 W envelope on the RUZIZAO

30 V × 5 A and 15 V × 10 A are both 150 W. The listing explains that the supply will not accept settings beyond that product, which is the honest way to state a range that is not a rectangle.

Three digits, set by encoder

0.1 V and 0.01 A are the steps the display shows. They are adequate for powering circuits and coarse for characterising them, and they describe the display rather than how accurately the output holds the value.

Protections the SPS-E3010 page omits

Every other supply in this family names at least one protection. This listing names none, which may be an omission rather than an absence; either way it is the question to put before connecting anything valuable.

At the last look-up, the German Amazon store was asking roughly 34 €.

The British, French and Spanish Amazon catalogues list the product, yet no seller was offering it.

The American and Italian Amazon stores returned no entry, so the buy button there opens a search rather than a missing page.

Where it earns its place, and where it falls short

Strengths

  • Up to 10 A at 15 V or 5 A at 30 V, with the 150 W limit explained plainly
  • Encoder knobs that select each digit, replacing potentiometers
  • Small and under 1 kg, with a 100–240 V input

Compromises

  • No protections described — not overcurrent, overvoltage or short circuit
  • Only three display digits, 0.1 V and 0.01 A
  • The fan runs whenever the supply is on, as the fourth bullet states

Questions makers ask before buying

Can the RUZIZAO SPS-E3010 give 30 V at 10 A?

No. The first bullet says output is limited to 150 W: at 10 A the voltage cannot exceed 15 V, and at 30 V the current cannot exceed 5 A.

Is the SPS-E3010 fan temperature-controlled?

No. The fourth bullet says the fan starts when the supply is switched on and is not temperature-controlled.
