ANYCUBIC Wash & Cure 3 Plus, 228 × 128 × 260 mm wash size review

A wash and cure station with a 228 × 128 × 260 mm wash size and a 7.6 litre two-layer basket that washes with the build platform attached, and a rotatable gooseneck light for curing hidden areas.

The bottom line A generous station for large resin printers, with a clear wash size, adjustable basket height and a flexible curing light. Agitation, timers and lid are not described, and the listing measures its improvements only against its own predecessor.

The Wash & Cure 3 Plus listing, bullet by bullet

Five bullets: a wash size of 228 × 128 × 260 mm and a basket volume up 13.4 % to 7.6 l compared with the Wash & Cure Plus, for LCD printers of 10.6 in and below; a rotatable Flexicure gooseneck light raising energy at 1–3 cm by 30,000 µW/cm²; a new LED bead arrangement with a lens, curing 20 % more evenly than the previous generation; a two-layer PP basket that washes with the platform attached, with heights of 150 and 250 mm and platforms from 6.6 to 10.6 in; and a two-layer curing platform for more models per cycle.

Comparisons with its own predecessor

13.4 % more volume and 20 % more even curing, both against the Wash & Cure Plus. They tell an owner of the older station what has changed. They do not place this station against any other maker’s, and the page reads them that way.

A basket without described agitation

The volume and heights are given; how the alcohol moves around the part is not. Washing is what removes uncured resin before curing, and the listing leaves the mechanism undescribed.

Printer names on an ANYCUBIC page

The first bullet names ANYCUBIC’s own Photon Mono M5s and the Saturn 3 series among compatible printers. The fit that matters is the platform size, 6.6 to 10.6 inches, which the fourth bullet gives.

Where it earns its place, and where it falls short

Strengths

  • A 228 × 128 × 260 mm wash size and a 7.6 l basket that takes the build platform
  • Two basket heights, 150 and 250 mm, to use less alcohol for smaller platforms
  • A rotatable gooseneck light for curing the tops of models and fine areas

Compromises

  • No agitation method described, so how the basket cleans is not stated
  • No timers or lid described
  • The 13.4 % and 20 % improvement figures compare with the previous model, not with other stations

Questions makers ask before buying

Will it fit my printer’s build platform?

The fourth bullet says the basket accepts platforms from 6.6 to 10.6 inches, and the first names the Photon Mono M5s and Saturn 3 series among compatible printers.

What does the gooseneck light do?

The second bullet says the rotatable Flexicure light raises the energy at 1 to 3 cm by 30,000 µW/cm², helping cure the tops of models and fine areas such as skirts on figures.
