What the Redrex kit leaves out

No thermistor, no heater cartridge. The third bullet says so in capitals. The kit is the mechanical half of a hotend; the electrical half stays with the printer or is bought separately. The product photograph agrees: heatsink, heater block, throat, nozzle, fitting and two screws, and no wires.

The Redrex throat without PTFE

A throat with no PTFE liner is the kit’s one design point. The listing gives no temperature, so the reason for choosing an unlined throat is left to the clog argument in the second bullet.

Availability

At the last look-up, the German, French, Italian and Spanish Amazon stores were asking 9 € to 11 €.

It is sold in the British Amazon store as well, in its own currency, which the euro figures above leave out on purpose.

The American Amazon catalogue lists the product, yet no seller was offering it.
