The Anycubic Vyper hotend listing, bullet by bullet

Six bullets: a replacement hotend only for the Anycubic Vyper, Kobra Max and Kobra Plus, not the Kobra Neo or Kobra Go; a Volcano design said to heat evenly and support high-speed printing; a plug-and-play thermistor and heater, with advice on an NTC error; 1.75 mm PLA, ABS, wood, PETG and TPU; an original Anycubic brass nozzle; and support by message within 24 hours.

The printers the Anycubic hotend excludes

Kobra Neo and Kobra Go are named as not compatible. A listing that says where a part does not fit is more useful than one that lists only where it does, particularly across a family of printers with similar names.

An NTC error on the Anycubic hotend

The third bullet anticipates one fault: an NTC error, which points at the thermistor. It says to check the connector and the tightness of the screws first. No temperature range is given anywhere on the page. The product photograph shows a white PTFE tube fitted to the hotend, which the bullets do not mention.

Availability

At the last look-up, the French and Spanish Amazon stores were asking 8 € to 11 €.

It is sold in the British Amazon store as well, in its own currency, which the euro figures above leave out on purpose.

Asking prices on the German and Italian Amazon stores ran past 1.6× the lowest country’s. A gap that size points to goods shipped in from abroad rather than a local seller, so those offers are left out of the figures above.

The American Amazon catalogue lists the product, yet no seller was offering it.
