The BZ 3D Vyper hotend listing, bullet by bullet

Five bullets: a CNC-machined brass nozzle with a stated 0.01 mm tolerance, smooth and burr-free, for 1.75 mm PLA, ABS, TPU and PA; a bi-metal heat break of titanium alloy and copper, firmly joined; a shinier nozzle and heat break, better thread precision and a smoother bore against clogs and leaks; the bi-metal heat break’s effect on heat loss, temperature swings and heat creep; and an NTC100K B3950 thermistor of 3 × 5.5 mm and about 100 mm that can measure up to 300 °C.

The same bullets as the ZIZISHU kit

Word for word, with a different printer. The five bullets match the ZIZISHU i3 Mega kit on this site, except that the BZ 3D version names the Vyper and drops the PID tuning note. The heater voltage differs: 24 V here, 12 V there. The product photographs show the same design as well, with a black heatsink here and a blue one on the ZIZISHU kit.

What BZ 3D’s 300 °C describes

The fifth bullet gives 300 °C as what the thermistor can measure. No bullet gives a temperature the hotend itself is rated for.

Availability

At the last look-up, the German, French, Italian and Spanish Amazon stores were asking roughly 36 €.

It is sold in the British Amazon store as well, in its own currency, which the euro figures above leave out on purpose.

The American Amazon catalogue lists the product, yet no seller was offering it.
