The nozzle question on the eSUN page

Carbon fibre is abrasive, and the listing is silent. Brass nozzles wear on filled filaments, and hardened steel ones are generally used for them. None of the three carbon fibre filaments here addresses it. The page does not decide it for eSUN; it names the question.

Stiffer, and matte

Carbon fibre makes PLA stiffer and dulls its surface. For jigs and brackets, stiffness is the reason; for display parts, the matte look.

Compatibility named

The AnkerMake M5 reviewed on this site is among the printers named. Compatibility here means the material prints at speed; it does not say what nozzle the M5 should wear for it.

Availability

At the last look-up, the German, French and Spanish Amazon stores were asking 17 € to 21 €.

It is sold in the British Amazon store as well, in its own currency, which the euro figures above leave out on purpose.

The asking price on the Italian Amazon store ran past 1.6× the lowest country’s. A gap that size points to goods shipped in from abroad rather than a local seller, so that offer is left out of the figures above.

The American Amazon catalogue lists the product, yet no seller was offering it.
