The Creality DXC extruder listing, bullet by bullet

Six bullets: an RNC-3300 coating stated to give three times the life of standard extruders and 60 % less wear; an integrated sensor that warns of feed failures and filament breaks; materials from PC and PA-CF to TPU 85A, carbon fibre composites included; a dual gear design with 200 % larger contact area and even extrusion stated at 200+ mm/s; active cooling against heat build-up and clogging; and plug-and-play fitting on the K1 series with no firmware update and a tool-free swing arm, in five minutes.

The Creality DXC and the K1C

Named in the title. The K1C reviewed on this site is one of three printers the kit is made for, and the sixth bullet says no firmware update is needed. The product photograph shows the red swing arm on the front of the unit.

Creality’s figures

Three times the life, 60 % less wear, 200 % more contact and 200+ mm/s are all Creality’s statements, with no conditions given. A speed figure describes the pace the claim refers to, not what a given print will run at.
